Abstract
This paper presents the results of a survey of Iowa educators regarding their attitudes toward the perceived value of mLearning technologies for learning and teaching, their usage of mLearning technologies for teaching purposes, and the use of those technologies by their students for learning. The purpose of the study is to extend our understanding of mLearning technology integration into learning and teaching in a way that is useful to teachers and teacher educators. The data for this study was collected from a survey completed by 291 inservice teachers. Based on the results of the survey, there appears to be strong indications of mLearning technology adoption for educational purposes by teachers who consider themselves well skilled in those technologies; with corresponding degrees of correlation between the usage of those technologies for teaching and the observed usage by students for learning purposes.
