Abstract
Abstract: The story of the creation of an interdisciplinary center using project-based learning to provide computer science and visual communication design students with real world experience. Students needed opportunities to develop skills in an environment similar to the work place. The project-based approach provided a framework that included teamwork with faculty facilitation. It was not easy, with several barriers to be overcome; however, we have built a successful center.
