Abstract
This study presents the rationale, model and results of the first year of operation of an operational change model based in innovation. The change model focuses upon professional development of faculty in the area of alternative delivery systems. The two main components of TIES are the development of and commitment to a vision for change using alternative delivery systems and a leadership team training approach whereby faculties may interpret and develop the vision according to their own unique needs and goals. Results of the first year of operation in terms of vision development and leadership team training and support are presented.
