Abstract
Lateral entry teacher in NC have the task of taking online and/or hybrid classes to meet the requirements of licensure for the state. These teachers are hired without having had any education coursework. A team of teachers worked together for the past several years to enhance their teaching and student learning. In this session we will discuss the history of lateral entry teachers, the current data collected from SurveyMonkey, and impact of common course designs and Voicestream@ on students' abilities to articulate their knowledge. In addition, we will share insights of teachers who are using voicestream© for the first time. The element of creativity we will address is the power of collaborative opportunities that have emerged from the members
