Abstract

Most grant applications require that the innovations be sustained beyond the life of the grant and that proposals detail how this will be accomplished. This presentation will consider how it possible to fulfill requirements for sustainability at budget-strapped institutions of higher learning. The lessons learned about how to organize the grant and its services for maximum impact are based on experiences with several grants but in particular a PT3 grant "Preparing Teachers for the Digital Age: Implementing a Dynamic Model of Pedagogical Change" awarded to three public universities in Western Pennsylvania.
