Abstract: The present team work aims at presenting the DiLCoS environment as a possible virtual collaborative learning system in which five important aspects are considered in the following sections: 1. Introducing the Learning Distance Collaborative System - DiLCoS; 2. The multidisciplinary team and a few group strategies; 3. An open learning environment - a learning community; 4. An evaluation proposal; 5. Implications of the DiLCoS to education: advances and limitations to the learning process.
