Abstract: Today’s students are using technology and hypermedia more outside of the classroom than inside. A video historical-documentary project embraces the potential of creating unique education media content for dynamic technology and mobile students. Production and product experiences emergent as relevant to curriculum are discussed and resources for sharing digital content are explored. Multiple strategies for integrating video education into the curriculum and beyond the classroom are described. The educational value of recreating local histories and taking advantage of students’ multimedia literacy is seen as unique opportunities for content creation and learning experiences.
