Abstract

Education Technology is offering a unique chance to educators. We are now able through the world of computers and the Internet to get students from various parts of the world, not only to communicate on a given topic but also to create projects that can be made available for the whole world to view. This brief paper explores on-line collaborative projects. It offers a proposal for an educational curriculum, the main component of which is creating online collaborative projects. This curriculum creates a chance for youth from the Middle East and the Arab World to communicate with one another and with other youth from the USA and other parts of the world using the Internet. The aim of this curriculum is to discuss and fight terrorism, the main challenge currently facing our world. The paper discusses the rationale, goals and objectives, suggested pre-planning and implementation stages of this curriculum.
