The presenter will share and discuss the results of a study in which in-service teachers completed a series of online modules demonstrating the use of research-based strategies for teaching reading in the Social Studies classroom. The presentation will share conclusions focusing on the impact of online in-service training on teacher practices, and on the impact of teachers' technological background on their use of Internet resources.
