This research work investigates the impacts of Decision Support (DS) Technologies on users with it is applied as a training tool. A lab experiment with control and treatment groups was conducted using Strategic Marketing seminar' participants as surrogates for novice marketing analysts. A Posttest Design with Repeated Measures on One Factor was applied to study phenomena across time. The lab results were analyzed by applying One-Way Repeated-Measures Analysis of Variance, Polynomial Contrasts Analysis and Multi-regression Estimation of the Performance Curve strategies. The results show that the use of DS technologies does accelerate users learning process and improve their performance.
